Mustang is planning to resurface Clear Springs Road between SW 89th Street and SH-152, with an October 14, 2026 start outlined in the city’s August construction update.
Engineers have completed the resurfacing plans, but the work was postponed because of manpower and equipment availability. The city is targeting fall break to reduce the impact on school traffic.
The work could affect travel to Lakehoma Elementary, at 224 S. Clear Springs Road, though specific changes to school access have not been detailed in the city’s update.
Mustang Public Schools students are scheduled to be out October 14–16 for fall break and October 19–20 for staff development days. With the weekend in between, students return to class October 21.
The October 14 start reflects the city’s August 28 plans. The city’s update did not give a completion date.
